The first day of February is annually observed as “Change Your Password Day” in the cybersecurity community.

Passwords are one of the most critical lines of defence against cyber-attacks. They help to ensure that our data is accessed only by authorised users (even if your device is lost or gets stolen). Many people make the mistake of choosing passwords that can be found in the dictionary and then reuse them across multiple accounts, meaning that once a cyber criminal gains access to one of these accounts, they have them all. And always remember, if you did not pay for the product, you are the product!

As you update your account passwords today, consider the best practices listed on the image below.
